The new EU-Australian Partnership Framework Agreement, launched in October 2008 by the Australian Foreign Minister, and French Foreign Minister [representing the EU French Presidency], paves the way for more collaboration on a range of foreign policy, trade, security, regional co-operation, economic development, climate change, energy, research and other issues.
