The EABC undertakes an annual Australian Business Delegation to Canberra for representatives of European firms to engage with Australian Ministers and other public policy-makers and regulators.

The programme includes meetings and events with European Commissioners, Australian Government Ministers, senior officials, diplomats, peak business organisations, think-tanks and the media.

Forthcoming 2009 Australian Business Delegation to Canberra 16th and 12th November

Coinciding with the National European Centre Symposium , the business delegation will provide representatives of EABC’s European Corporate and Charter Members, and other European and Australian business leaders the opportunity to engage in direct dialogue with Australian Government policy-makers.

2008 Australian Business Delegation to Canberra, 16th and 17th September

The inaugural EABC Delegation to Canberra, held on 16 and 17 September 2008, was led by EABC President Alastair Walton.

to review the Australian regulatory environment and trade and investment climate with respect to European business; to explore macro-economic and political conditions in Australia and the European Union.
